ManageSoft Goes Deep Into the Datacenter

Announces Enterprise Deployment Suite 8.2

BOSTON, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/30/09 -- ManageSoft -- the leading provider of desktop-to-datacenter IT asset management (ITAM) solutions -- announced today that its new Enterprise Deployment Suite (EDS) software, version 8.2 will be released on October 16th. This release adds client support for UNIX® platforms, including HP-UX® and IBM AIX®, as well as agentless inventory capability for UNIX and Linux operating systems. These enhancements allow EDS to provide comprehensive discovery and inventory of hardware and software assets in heterogeneous datacenter environments. New features of EDS allow deployment for the Windows 7 and Windows Server® 2008 R2 operating systems and automatic repair of UNIX and Linux software installations.
