Moyea announces flash variables to play video for Amazon S3 user

Kunshan, China - Moyea Software today published the supported Flash variables of the player by Flash Video MX Pro. This comes out as a money-saving solution for users to get player to point to particular Flash video hosted on other server or web storage service like Amazon S3, when building a website.

Moyea Flash Video MX Pro helps users to convert videos from digital camera, HD camcorder, DVD and so on to Flash video in small size with player for publishing video online. The import file formats could be AVI, WMV, MOV, MTS, M2TS, MKV, VOB, MPG, MP4, MOD, TOD, just to list a few. The generated Flash player presents the related Flash video by default, if the video and player are placed to the same folder.

Users can choose to upload files generated by Flash Video MX Pro to their server or online storage web service provider to present the videos online. With the launch of Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service), users have more options for sharing files and videos. Amazon's S3, as one kind of Amazon Web Services (AWS), is based on cloud computing. User can get an AWS account and use HTTP protocol to get uploaded files from the data in the cloud. The pricing of Amazon S3 is less than $0.2 per GB, saving a lot for online building a site, sharing file and videos together with Flash Video MX Pro.

"We have customers using the cloud storage service like Amazon S3 to host videos and players. To help customer use a custom player on Amazon S3, we released of Flash variables supported by player from Flash Video MX Pro." said Joe, the product manager of Flash Video MX Pro from Moyea Software.

Only one Flash variable is needed to complete the process to get the Moyea web player by Flash Video MX Pro to point to particular Flash video. The Flash variable is named videoFile, and the name is case sensitive. In the HTML code with Object and Embed tags, which specify the embedding of the swf file, add "?videoFile=" with the HTTP URL of the FLV file after the equal sign.
