PALO ALTO, Calif., Nov. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Aldata, a global leader in retail and distribution improvement software, today announced the appointment of Vince Beacom to the new role of President of the Americas reporting into Aldata CEO Roy Simrell. This role will combine all sales and services operations throughout North, Central, and South America under one leader. This appointment will enable Aldata to accelerate the expansion of its North American business and leverage the skills and experience of the team to fully address the high growth opportunities of Central and South America.
Vince Beacom has over 25 years of experience in enterprise software specializing in retail. His former roles include Group Vice President of the Americas for Oracle's Retail Business, General Manager of Merchandise Operations at Retek, and senior positions at SAP Americas and Accenture.
"Vince brings a wealth of retail sector experience combined with across-the-Americas customer engagement to Aldata," said Roy Simrell, CEO, Aldata, Inc. Brendan Lowe, formerly President of North America, will head all of Aldata's customer delivery for the Americas as EVP of Operations reporting into Beacom.
