MCLEAN, VA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/12/12 -- VirtualSharp Software, the leading provider of next generation automated Disaster Recovery solutions for private and public clouds, and Bull, the specialist in open, secure systems, today announced the extension of a successful Recovery Assurance partnership.
"Following the success of our first integration project with VirtualSharp, the benefits of adopting its Recovery Assurance technology internally were clear," said Paul Briddock, head of internal systems at Bull. "We want to be recognized as the gold standard of private cloud governance, and working with VirtualSharp allows us to fulfill a critical requirement of cloud service level management."
Bull has implemented VirtualSharp Software's ReliableDR in its internal data centers because of the solution's ease of deployment and its ability to 'failover' to certified recovery points. Using these attributes allows Bull to guarantee service level agreements at the application level. ReliableDR is protecting key internal systems such as purchasing, payroll, sales ordering, email, support, workflow and asset management, which are based on applications such as Business Objects, MS SQL, Oracle and web services.
As an existing VirtualSharp Software partner, Bull has already integrated VirtualSharp's ReliableDR into its managed service portfolio as a Recovery-as-a-Service (RaaS) solution and successfully deployed it at customer sites throughout Europe.
"Bull is an international partner with a comprehensive offering for assessing, designing, implementing and supporting IT infrastructures," said Michael Hillewaert, VP of International Sales at VirtualSharp Software. "It's great to see the benefits Bull and its customers are achieving with our Recovery Assurance software."
