REDWOOD CITY, California and COLOGNE, Germany, November 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
ParStream, a recognized leader in Real-Time Big Data Analytics, announced today that Conrad Essen and Dr. Amitabh Shah have joined the organization as Vice President of Sales and Vice President of Business Development, respectively. Conrad and Amitabh, each with over 20 years of software industry experience and with strong knowledge of enterprise applications, databases, and global business, will enable ParStream to expand sales and partnerships worldwide.

Conrad Essen spent the last seven years with Oracle as the Director of Sales, where he delivered significant sales results in new business. He held the position of Vice President of Sales at TimesTen for seven years prior to Oracle's acquisition of the real-time database company. During his tenure at Sun Microsystems he led sales and customer marketing teams; his last role was District Sales Manager at SunSoft. In his new role at ParStream, Conrad will focus on building global customer relationships and driving business growth in the USA.
Dr. Amitabh Shah came to ParStream from Cisco, where he spent seven years in global business development focusing on strategic partnerships in the Emerging Markets geography, working with major systems integrators and the Cisco Channel partners. Previously, he led Vitria Technology's telecom solutions business, making Vitria the top Enterprise Integration platform for the telecom market. He started his career at Digital Equipment, where he co-authored TPC Benchmark C, one of the most widely used OLTP benchmark in the world. In his new role at ParStream, Amitabh will focus on technology, systems integration and reseller partnerships globally, and help define the company's vertical markets strategy.
