Cubeware, which provides innovative business intelligence (BI) software and service solutions, today announced Cubeware Cockpit Mobile BI, a mobile application that provides business professionals with access to the full functionality of Cubeware Cockpit V6pro on their smartphones or tablets.
With Cubeware Cockpit Mobile BI, customers and partners now can get all the reporting and analytical power of Cubeware Cockpit V6pro on-the-go at no extra cost, including access to dashboards, analytical reports and even reports from relational sources. The Cubeware Cockpit Mobile BI app is available for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.
“Business professionals increasingly work away from the office, so providing mobile BI access is the logical next step to give executives immediate access to the information and analytics they need, when they need it,” said Wolfgang Seybold, Cubeware CEO. “With this powerful functionality, our customers will be able to keep up with the global business environment and address operational and strategic business problems even when they’re away from the office.”
With the mobile capability, Cubeware can help customers produce budgeting scenarios on-the-go, enable sales teams to quickly review sales history and pricing analysis, and perform predictive analysis of potential delivery or inventory issues.
Cubeware Cockpit Mobile BI app supports the following OLAP Databases:
- MS Analysis Services (AS 2005 – AS 2012)
- Infor PM OLAP (Infor ION)
- IBM Cognos TM1
- SAP BI
- Oracle Essbase
In addition to these OLAP databases, relational reports generated using Cubeware Cockpit Mobile BI can be used by ODBC or OLE DB database connections. These capabilities allow employees to use rich dashboards using different data sources.
The Cubeware Cockpit Mobile app is free and is included as a component of the Cubeware Cockpit/Team Server product suite. The app is available as a download via Apple’s App Store or Google Play.
