FRAMINGHAM, Mass., Dec. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- UBM Channel's XChange Events today hosts the annual Women of The Channel Winter Workshop. This full day of interactive sessions on Tuesday, December 4th is designed exclusively for women and provides attendees with an opportunity to share insight, invest in development and self-awareness, network for professional and personal growth, and celebrate success. In its fourth year, this event continues to increase in numbers – with nearly 200 women technology leaders from both vendor and solution provider organizations. The event agenda provides attendees with a mix of keynote speakers, breakout sessions and networking opportunities. Featured sessions include:
- Opening Keynote from Theresa Payton, Former White House CIO and National Cyber-Security Authority
- Women of The Channel Power Panel moderated by UBM Channel Senior Vice President and Editorial Director Kelly Damore, and featuring female leaders from IBM, Oracle, Symantec, Symform, and VMware
- Networking luncheon with guest speaker Adriana Trigiani, Best Selling Author of The Shoemaker's Wife
- Breakout sessions on personal branding and negotiating
- Channel@Work charitable initiative in partnership with Safe Horizon, an organization that provides comprehensive services that help victims of crime and abuse overcome crisis and restore their lives.
