The Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) valued at $64.5 million was awarded on September 25th for IT Professional Services Consulting work related to system design, development, integration, maintenance, implementation, and enhancement as well as database administration, and operation support.
This award will allow the SEC to work with the SAIC-Mythics Team to develop, maintain and migrate SEC's Enterprise Applications. The SAIC-Mythics Team will perform consolidation around the SEC's existing database systems. Combining Mythics Consulting's expertise in the Oracle product stack with SAIC's role as one of the SEC's most trusted advisors, the SAIC-Mythics Team will provide the customer with a broad range of database capabilities across a multitude of IT systems.
"We are thrilled to be a part of the SAIC team and look forward to aligning Oracle solutions to our federal customer's enterprise IT computing needs," stated Richard Walters, President of Mythics Consulting. "Utilizing both SAIC and Mythics' past technical successes, SEC will be provided with an easy to use contract vehicle which allows them to access the unique understanding both companies have of the SEC's mission with its IT enterprise computing environment."
