SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Twelfth Annual Storage Visions Conference held at the Riviera Hotel Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, January 6 & 7, 2013, features insightful keynote and session talks on digital storage technologies as well as media and entertainment applications of storage. 2013 Storage Visions Keynote Speakers include Yoshiaki Shishikui, from NHK Research Laboratories to talk about digital storage requirements for 8K X 4K video at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Keynote speakers from Intel and SanDisk will explore the role of solid state storage to enable increased flexibility and choices for enterprise and consumer users.
Sessions during the two day conference cover digital storage for professional media and entertainment, digital storage security, storage interface developments (especially based upon PCIe), programming with new storage interfaces, a discussion between professional media and entertainment storage professionals, digital storage for mobile consumer devices, digital storage archiving and content preservation, digital storage in the cloud for enterprises and consumers, digital storage and content delivery and saving and protecting home and small business information.
The 2013 Storage Visions Awards will be announced at the conference during lunch on January 6, 2013.
