SAN MATEO, Calif., Jan. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Marketo, the leading provider of cloud-based marketing automation software, today announced that IT Convergence has exceeded revenue projections for 2012 and increased sales by 27% by uniquely combining Marketo with CRM and prospecting software tools. This alchemy has created a 'Magic Trio' that has enabled IT Convergence to seamlessly manage enormous quantities of data, up-level its marketing efforts, accelerate sales closure and grow revenue. As part of the Magic Trio, Marketo is powering IT Convergence to compete with the largest players in its industry.

Two years ago, before Marketo, IT Convergence had a very large business research group that focused on manually researching and compiling data for its marketing and sales funnel. Today, the company manages even more robust and comprehensive data collection and research activities by using Marketo, CRM and data acquisition/sales prospecting solutions together. This Magic Trio has created tremendous impact for IT Convergence, resulting in a combination that is greater than the sum of its parts.
"We now do far more in terms of execution and results with about 10% of the staff that we had prior to adopting the Magic Trio," said Patrick Krause, president and founder of IT Convergence. "Our Magic Trio has created a sales platform that makes even our junior sales personnel highly effective, and has resulted in much more impact than imagined."
Before Marketo, many leads were overlooked or abandoned by salespeople who had minimal faith in the marketing process and the quality of prospects passed down the funnel. The enhanced visibility provided by Marketo's marketing automation solution, improved confidence between sales and marketing, and more deals were closed faster to power revenue and business growth for the company.
"Marketo gave our marketing team a platform to engage with the business in a way that they couldn't before," Krause continued. "We have highly variable sales cycles, often very long. We're now able to track leads back two years and growing. Our confidence in marketing spend being a good investment is growing, as we've been able to track most of our largest deals back to marketing activity."
