Proformative, the premier knowledge-sharing community for chief financial officers and corporate finance leaders, today announced ProformaTECH 2013, the technology conference for finance, accounting and treasury professionals, will be held on March 20 at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport Hotel. ProformaTECH 2013 combines educational sessions, best practices and expert advice with a showcase of real-world applications across multiple technologies and industries.
As disruptive technologies continue to revolutionize business at an unprecedented rate, CFOs and corporate finance professionals are playing an increasingly active role in owning technology strategy. ProformaTECH enables attendees the opportunity to grow their businesses and careers by learning how to leverage technology to drive productivity across the enterprise and top line company growth. Exploring topics ranging from cloud computing adoption best practices to redefining the IT-Finance relationship to corporate performance management, the conference provides an interactive peer-to-peer setting to network, share knowledge and learn how world-class companies are transforming their enterprises to drive growth, carve out operating costs, and create competitive advantage in an environment of accelerating hyper-competition.
“We’re extremely excited about our inaugural ProformaTECH Conference,” commented John Kogan, CEO of Proformative. “Our goal is to compress as much value for attendees as possible in one day by merging education with real-world technology solutions, all under one roof. They’ll have the unique opportunity to learn about a wide range of topics from industry leaders, and then immediately follow up by talking directly with leading solution providers.”
The keynote speaker for ProformaTECH 2013 will be Rex Jackson, executive vice president and CFO of JDS Uniphase (JDSU). Educational sessions will be led by other luminaries of the corporate financial world including Jim Cook, CFO of Mozilla; Shyam Desigan, CFO and senior vice president of IT, American Academy of Physician Assistants; Jeff Epstein, former CFO of Oracle; Mike Forman, vice president of finance and corporate controller of Netsuite; and Glenn Robertson, senior vice president of internal audit at Wyndham Worldwide. The core theme of ProformaTECH 2013 is “Leveraging Technology to Maximize Business Results – Driven by the Finance, Accounting and Treasury Functions.”
“I learned a lot at the CFO Dimensions conference in the fall and I'm looking forward to attending ProformaTECH in March," said Edward Abbati, vice president of finance at Location Labs. “Because I'm always moving through the maze of new technology, I find it immensely valuable to get out of the office and just spend an entire day getting up to speed on the latest innovations, as well as networking with other CFOs."
Full-day attendees will receive free CTP and CPE credits as part of their Certified Treasury Professional and CPA annual certification. For more information or to secure a registration spot, please visit the ProformaTECH 2013 Conference page.
