The Mobile Commerce News Weekly is an online newsletter made up of the most interesting news, articles and links related to mobile commerce and marketing, mobile payments, mobile money, e-wallets, mobile banking, mobile ads and mobile security that I run across each week.  I am specifically targeting market size and market trend information.

IBM has acquired Xtify, a mobile messaging platform specializing in rich-content texts and push notifications. Xtify software has the ability to trigger messages depending on time or geographic location, as well as demographic data. Read Original Content

According to the latest index of e-commerce transaction on the Adyen platform, mobile is continuing to gain a greater share of all the digital commerce Adyer measures, going from 13.8 percent of all transactions in May to 17.6 percent in August. UAE-based telecom service provider Etisalat Group is set to expand its mobile phone-based commerce service “Flous” in Niver through its subsidiary Etisalat Moov.
