N-able Technologies(R) to host fourth regional Partner Summit in Boston, Massachusetts on November 8

Industry Leader's Regional Partner Summits Deliver Exceptional Content and Business Value to Service Providers Across North Amer

BOSTON, MA, Nov. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- N-able Technologies, the # 1 provider of managed service automation software and business transformation services for resellers servicing small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), today announced it will host its fourth Regional Partner Summit on Wednesday, November 8, in Boston, Massachusetts, at the Hyatt Harborside.

N-able's Boston Partner Summit is the last of four regional events held throughout the U.S. in 2006. Expected attendance is approximately 150 service providers. To date, N-able's Regional Partner Summits have attracted more than 700 managed service providers (MSPs) throughout North America. The company will kick off its 2007 Regional Partner Summits early next year starting in Los Angeles. N-able is also working to replicate a similar Partner Summit in the United Kingdom.

"N-able's Regional Partner Summits have proven extremely profitable to attending MSP partners," says Gavin Garbutt, president & CEO, N-able Technologies. "Many attendees said our summit's focus on business transformation, Hardware-as-a-Service, and the importance of ROI provided them with the necessary resources and insight to move ahead of the commoditization curve and truly differentiate their service. That's exactly what we are looking to accomplish."

Further preparing MSPs for the future, Garbutt will present a forward-looking keynote on "The State of the Managed Services Nation". This unbiased executive discussion will look at the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the managed services industry and provide valuable guidance on what MSPs of all sizes should be doing to expand and enhance their businesses. "We want to prepare our partners for success and show them how to build and maintain value into their service model so that they become an integral and irreplaceable part of their client's business," concludes Garbutt.

Adding more insight to the mix, N-able vice-president of sales Mike Cullen will team with N-able MSP partner Michael Drake, founder, chairman and CEO of masterIT, to discuss in detail the intricacies of "Delivering Hardware-as-a-Service (HaaS)". In addition, successful entrepreneur and N-able MSP Ramsey Dellinger, president of MSP On Demand, will walk summit attendees through "How to Achieve True Profit in a HaaS Model".

"Any MSP who doesn't attend one of N-able's summits and assumes it will be just another self-congratulatory, feel-good exercise is making an enormous mistake," says Joseph Mercadante, founder and CEO of JP Merc & Co. "N-able was the first manufacturer prepared to help their partners evolve to become managed service providers years ago and they are leading again with Hardware-as-a-Service. This may be the best chance solution providers have all year to take a short break from working in their business to work on their business."

As a proud sponsor of N-able's 2006 Boston and Chicago Partner Summits, Intel(R) will once again take center stage and provide attendees with a first look at the new Intel(R) vPro(TM) technology and discuss the next generation of hardware management capabilities. In addition, Lexmark's channel solutions manager, Jay Schwalbach will discuss how to build and deliver a successful managed print solution.

N-able's Partner Panel and MSP Educational Tracks At-a-Glance

In addition to the general session and keynote speakers, N-able partners will learn from an informative MSP partner panel moderated by CRN's senior editor Dan Neel. The panel will include a number of N-able partners and focus on HaaS, industry best practices and offer first-hand experience on how to build and maintain a successful managed services practice.

To ensure the Boston Partner Summit is valuable to everyone in attendance, N-able is offering three education tracks throughout the afternoon. Each track is designed to suit the business and technical needs of today's emerging and established MSPs and solution providers. These tracks include:

- Selling Managed Services - Aimed at MSP partners who are interested in developing, selling and delivering a proactive managed services program. Topics include the critical aspects of managed services such as: Building a Fixed-fee Program; Successful Sales Strategies; and Delivering Customer Events to generate lead customers. - Applied Managed Services - Addresses key business strategies and challenges many MSPs face and provides insight on how to differentiate their offerings. Topics covered include: Understanding the Operational Framework of Managed Services; Verticalized Solutions; and Selling a Managed Services Offering. - Technical - Focuses on practical topics that impact the technical and ultimately the business success of the MSP. Topics include: N-power and N-central Integration; Best Practices; N-central Tuning Tips and Tricks and a technical panel that will focus on monitoring.

N-able's Regional Partner Summits are invitation only. The November 8 event is being held at the Hyatt Harborside from 8 am - 6:30 pm. For additional information about N-able's 2006 and 2007 Regional Partner Summits visit http://www.n-able.com/summit.
