Zags Expands Global Executive Team with Addition of Executive Advisor Jimmy Anidjar

Zags (formerly Insurance Global Operations (IGO)), a solution provider of core processing systems for the P&C and Life insurance markets, today announced the continued expansion of its executive team with the addition of technology industry veteran Jimmy Anidjar. The Anidjar appointment comes on the heels of the recent addition of Zags’ new CMO Yancy Oshita and CFO Gary Traynor.

In his role as Zags’ executive advisor, Anidjar will work closely with Zags founder and CEO Olivier Jaillon and the entire executive team to provide his counsel, expertise, and three decades of global experience in helping software and technology companies define and execute successful strategies for growth and market dominance. He will advise in a range of critical areas including product innovation, go-to-market strategy, and operational alignment.

With its sights set on aggressive growth and the establishment of a strong position in the global insurance software market, Zags is making significant investments in building a proven leadership team -- a team with the experience to define and execute the right strategy to design, develop, market, and implement highly innovative insurance solutions.

Jimmy Anidjar has been working with Zags over the past year in a consulting capacity to help the company through its rebranding, headquarters move to the U.S. and successful effort to raise $30 million in new investment capital. With the company recognizing the tremendous value of his experience and counsel in helping Zags to achieve its objectives, the decision was made to bring him into the company as a key member of the executive team.

Commenting on the addition of Anidjar to the Zags executive team, Olivier Jaillon said, “I have had the opportunity to work with Jimmy over the past year. His past experience has been invaluable and his guidance has been instrumental in helping us to put the organizational foundation and corporate strategy in place which will enable us to deliver on our high expectations for the company. I welcome Jimmy to the team and look forward to his contribution and leadership.”

Anidjar brings to Zags a wealth of high-tech, go-to-market, and general management experience in driving business growth. His impressive resume includes executive level positions with global technology leaders such as SAP, where he served as President of Fast Growth and Emerging Markets. Anidjar’s broad global experience also includes: Oracle Senior Vice President for Western Europe, Middle East, and Africa; Unisys CEO and Senior Vice President for France and Benelux; and Vice President of South Europe with Wang Laboratories. He has served on the board of a number of companies and professional associations, and is multi-lingual with proficiency in French, English, Spanish, German and Portuguese.

On joining Zags, Anidjar stated, "I am looking forward to my role on the Zags team. I strongly believe in Zags’ technology, value proposition and market opportunity. By melding my experience together with Olivier’s differentiated vision and Zags' exceptional leadership team, we can continue to build the company and drive market leadership."

When talking IoT we often focus on the devices, the sensors, the hardware itself. The new smart appliances, the new smart or self-driving cars (which are amalgamations of many ‘things').
