Attune Systems Selected to Showcase File Virtualization Solution in the Microsoft Pavilion at Storage Networking World

Participating in Both the Microsoft Pavilion and the SNIA-Endorsed SNW Solutions Center

SANTA CLARA, Calif., April 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Attune Systems, Inc., a provider of enterprise-class file virtualization solutions, today announced that it was selected to participate in the Microsoft Partner Pavilion at Storage Networking World (SNW) Spring 2007 in San Diego, Calif., April 16-19, 2007, at the Manchester Grand Hyatt, Booth #PPV2-2. The company will also demonstrate the Maestro File Manager(TM) in the File Area Network (FAN) initiative section of the SNW Solutions Center. Attune is a Microsoft OEM Partner and an active Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) member.

"Maestro File Manager is built on a Windows platform, which means that we natively support the full SMB protocol, not just CIFS. We easily fit into our customers' existing environments without compromising functionality, stability, security or requiring complex network configuration changes or software agents on clients, servers and domain controllers," said Daniel Liddle, Attune's vice president of marketing. "Our solution provides non- disruptive data migration, server retirement, data consolidation, tiering and global namespace across Windows-based file servers and heterogeneous NAS devices."

Attune will also demonstrate its file virtualization solution as a prominent element of the File Area Network (FAN) initiative section of the SNW Solutions Center. Organized and endorsed by the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA), the Solutions Center enables storage buyers, users and implementers to see, first-hand, storage and information management solutions at work. Solutions Center participating vendor companies present real-world, multi-vendor storage networking solutions in a vendor-neutral setting-giving attendees the opportunity to determine which products and solutions best fit their enterprise's urgent storage networking challenges.
